Multiple Routes

Topic: Navigating A City

Mode: Interpretive

Level: Novice

Students will describe multiple routes to reach a given destination.

Components of this activity: A map

Instructions to the teacher

Give the students a map of a certain location (e.g. the MSU map given below).

Ask your students to find at least three different ways to get to B from location A (e.g. to the main library from Wells Hall).

They can say the directions or write them down. Thereafter, everyone in class can compare if they came up with the same route, which is the shortest and the longest.
