Instructions to the teacher
Have your students role play where Student A is trying to make a hotel room reservation and Student B is the employee answering their phone call. The dialogue should continue until they reach a mutual agreement in each case.
Student A can choose from the following items they want as part of their reservation.
- King sized bed
- Complimentary breakfast
- Free laundry services
- Dedicated parking spot, etc.
Student B can choose from the following list of potential problems at the hotel.
- Only queen size bedrooms available
- Hotel is full for the chosen dates
- Parking is in a paid lot
- Hotel has a minimum 3 night stay, etc.
