Level: Novice
Students will tell the set of whole numbers greater than or less than a number.
Instruction to the teacher:
- Select random whole numbers that your students recognize in the target language (i.e. based on the proficiency level of your students).
- Ask students to state the set of whole numbers greater than or less than a number given. (Note: be explicit that the numbers here means positive whole numbers)
For example:
Instructor: What are the numbers less than 4?
Students: 1, 2, 3
Instructor: What are the numbers greater than 3 and less than 7?
Students: 4, 5, and 6.
