Instructions to the teacher

Make a recording of the dialogue below; alternatively, read the script aloud to the class. Then, create a worksheet of comprehension questions for your students. Correct answers appear in bold below.

Script

A: How’s your studying going?
B: It’s going well, but I think I need to take a break.
A: Have you been here at the library all morning?
B: Yes, and now I’m getting hungry. Have you eaten lunch?
A: No, but I was just about to go to the cafeteria. Would you like to go together?
B: Yes, I’d love to, but I brought my lunch. Could we go to a food court instead?
A: Sure, I like going there too. They have a Chinese restaurant I like ordering from.
B: Great! I’ll just pack up my books.
