Instructions to the teacher
- Audio record the scripts and save them.
- In class, let students listen to each audio file and select the correct location of each place in the city.
Scripts
- To get to the library from the dining hall, you will take Grand River Avenue heading east until you reach Abbot Road. Turn right onto Abbot Road, and follow it for one block. Turn right again on Circle Drive and follow it until you see the library on your right.
- The best way to get to the Capitol from the planetarium is to go west on Shaw Lane until you reach Farm Lane. Turn right on Farm Lane and go north until you reach Grand River Avenue. Once there turn left and go west for about three miles. Turn left on Capitol Avenue and the building is on your right.
- To get to the high school from the supermarket, go west on Main Street. Follow Main Street until you reach Pine Lane, about 2 miles, and turn right.Go about one mile to the north and take a left turn onto Wood Road. Continue on Wood Road for one more mile. The school is on your left.
- To get to the theatre from the restaurant, go east on Michigan Avenue for three miles until you reach Beacon Street and turn right. Follow Beacon until you reach First Street and turn left. Go just half a block, and the parking lot for the theatre is on your left.
