Instructions to students 

Listen carefully to the sentences and write the preposition or prepositional phrase that you hear. 

  1. My dorm is next to the dining hall. (Next to)
  2. My friend Andy lives in Owen Hall. (In)
  3. McDonel Hall is across from the performing arts center. (Across from)
  4. The performing arts center is beside the student union. (Beside)
  5. The Law Library is across the street from the Business College. (Across the street from)
  6. The International Center is around the corner from Wells Hall. (Around the corner from)
  7. The Engineering Building is right by the Urban Planning Building. (Right by)
  8. Conrad Hall is between Akers Hall and Fee Hall. (Between)
