Instructions to students

In this assignment, you will work with a partner. Each of you will record a voice message to submit to the LMS inviting your partner to attend an event. Make sure to give a greeting, state your name, make the actual invitation with the relevant data (purpose, place, time, etc.), letting them know how to respond (voice message, text message, etc.), concluding with a goodbye. Make sure to use culturally appropriate norms in making the invitation. Your partner should then listen to the invitation and respond appropriately. Then, you will switch roles.
