Excerpt:  Students will ask / answers questions about a movie, as if they were a late night tv host and guest who produced the show.

Instructions to the teacher: 

Students will work in pairs and decide on a movie or tv show to watch in the target language – they don’t need to watch it together but can watch it on their own. One of them will be the late night host and should prepare 3-5 questions to ask about the tv show or movie and share them with his/her classmate who is the producer of the show and should prepare answers. In class, they will be in front of the class in 2 chairs where the late night host will ask the other questions. The class member who answers will base his/her answers on the tv show that they watched.  

Instructions to students: 

You will work with a partner on this assignment and should decide on a movie or tv show that you will each watch in the target language. You don’t need to watch it together, though you are welcome to do so. One of you will play the role of the late night host while the other is the producer of the tv show / movie. The late night host should prepare 3-5 questions that he/she will ask the producer, sharing them with the producer before class. The producer should then have answers prepared. You will ask / answer the questions in front of the class.
