Students will listen to greetings or introductory questions and select the most logical response to each.

Instructions to the teacher

There are three versions of this activity below. The first two activities are slightly easier than the third. Adapt the activities as needed for your context.

  1. Audio-record the forms of greetings in the first worksheet below. Feel free to add more forms of greetings. Space them out so that students can hear clearly and respond to each item.
  2. Print out the second worksheet and distribute copies to students.
  3. Play the audio in class. Ask students to listen to each greeting and select the most logical response to it in their worksheets.
