Students will write down the month that they hear in each sentence.

Instructions to the teacher

  1. Record the scripts in the following exercise and save them as audio files.
  2. Play them in class and ask students to write down the month they hear in each sentence.
  3. Alternatively, read the scripts out loud in class.

Scripts 

  1. My birthday is in January.
  2. In March, we will go on vacation.
  3. Maybe in October, we will visit some farms.
  4. In the middle of July, it is very hot.
  5. February is cold in Michigan.
  6. Generally, it is May before flowers bloom.
  7. It rains a lot in April.
  8. November Rain is a song by a rock band.
  9. In many places, school begins in September.
  10. The shortest day of the year is in December in the northern hemisphere.
  11. June is the best time to visit Montreal.
  12. The first harvest often takes place in August.
