Note: There are two versions of this activity below, each with slightly different vocabulary words. Version 1 is a standard matching activity, while version 2 requires students to choose between two photos based on the activity they hear. 

Version 1

Instructions to the teacher

Make a matching worksheet for the following words and phrases about activities. Below, the vocabulary words are already matched with the corresponding picture. Mix them up when you make the worksheet. 

Instructions to students

Look at the vocabulary words on the left and match them with the corresponding picture on the right.

sleep

Version 2

Instructions to the teacher

Make a recording of the following script or read it aloud to the class at a relatively normal speaking speed. Also, make a worksheet for the students using the pictures below. 

Instructions to students

You are going to hear a series of sentences. For each one, you have two possible pictures to choose from. Choose the picture that corresponds to the sentence you hear.
